Hi
The installation is as follows: 1 telephone cable to the house which is the last house served. This cable has 2 lines inside. The first line is FT 04.XX.XX.XX and the second line is Alice 04.XX.XX.XX . The cable is then fed through the wall from outside under the window and the whole cable is connected approximately 1 metre away to 2 Telephone Wall Sockets which are side by side. One line is FT and the other Alice. A technician/engineer from Orange checked this out last week and there were no anomalies.

OK.
Did Orange technician open the wall socket and look inside if everything's OK or he just plugged a device in the socket to test it?

My mother was in attendance and she tells me that given how little time he spent at the wall sockets....no....he did not unscrew and open the wall plates.

Hi,
your line is under observation, so if it didn't function still yesterday, i think Alice would call you tomorrow.
Alice's technicians on C-Alice are following your case too, and we are waiting for their returns. We should have more information tomorrow.

Our technician who follow your case here told us that Alice tried to call you last friday, but without success.
Alice planed to call you again this afternoon, near 4pm (french time) to test something with the box.

I will make sûre someone is there. Ils y'étaient trois toute la journée vendredi mais bien sur si jamais on passe l'aspirateur on risque de rien entendre, par contre, il vaut mieux nous appelèr sur le numéro (FT) qui commence 04.XX.XX.XX.XX qu'au numéro portable 06.XX.XX.XX.XX. Le réseau est nul....on est obligé de sortir de la maison et aller au moins 50 mètres pour parler. Le numéro 04 (this is the other line within the same Ft Orange cable) appears to be fine.
To sum up, there will be someone there when Alice calls this afternoon. Could they please call on our other number 04.......?

What do you think......Xavier Neil is going to announce that finally our internet is going to be restored!!!!! Hopefully Alice can sort all this out today as it could be that everyone who works for Iliad, Free, Alice will be just too busy from 10am tomorrow onwards.

Hello Joss?
Do you have any news? France Telecom/Orange called at 16:00 and wanted to know if we use that number for the internet (the one we use for the alarm etc) to which we replied 'No' and they then said that in that case they would reduce the tariff. This call could not have had anything to do with Alice as they are on the mobile/portable EN CE MOMENT!!!!
Problem is we can only speak when we leave the house so can not carry out anything asked so PLEASE ASK THEM TO CALL ON our 04 tel number which I will relay to you by MP
